Private Client Lawyer Modern High Street Law Firm

£28,000 – £30,000 per annum.

Q&A HR are working with a modern high street solicitors firm based in Newport, Lincoln who maintain a traditional approach that has seen them grow since they started nearly 2 years ago.

This small team work closely together and adopt a traditional style family approach to create a friendly atmosphere. The firm pride themselves on providing a high quality service to the local community.

As part of the firm's continued growth they are now looking to appoint an experienced Private Client solicitor to work at their Scunthorpe office.

The Job

Based at our client’s Scunthorpe office this role will involve working closely with a Wealth Management company who refer work to our client. The work load is varied in all areas of private client work including Will drafting, Trusts, Lasting Powers of Attorney, Probate, transfers of equity

There is a general mix of clients including high net worth individuals.

Although working as part of a team and reporting directly to the Principal you will be given responsibility for the effective management of the case load.

Reporting to the Principal you will work as part of a team and with wealth management advisors. You will be responsible for maintaining existing client relationships and developing the relationship with the client referrer.

Requirements

Our client requires someone who is

  • A solicitor with at least a minimum of 3 years PQE upwards.
  • Must be able to demonstrate suitable experience to work on all private client areas without supervision.
  • STEP qualified is preferred but not essential
  • Good client care skills and be able to deal with sensitive matters in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Must be able to work in a friendly team but also be a self-starter and work autonomously
