Brand Reflections – A New Brand Strategy Tool seeking Beta Testers

Brand Reflections is a new brand strategy tool, currently seeking beta testers, to help brand owners understand and optimise the personality and performance of their brand.

Thinking about brands as having a personality in the same way that people do offers Partners and Brand Managers a powerful new perspective on their brand. This perspective provides excellent insight into brand strategy, along with helping create a more authentic and successful brand.

Looking at brand personality in practice, it is typical to have two people closely connected with a brand such as the Managing Partner and Marketing Director both believing that they share the same opinions about their brand. However, when we examine these opinions more closely via Brand Reflections, it is not uncommon to find that each individual has a contrasting view of the brand’s characteristics. In the short term, this may be a source of inconvenience and frustration but in the long term, misalignment is likely to lead to dilution of the brand’s identity and a drop in performance.

Brand Reflections provides a way to measure and understand these variations in perception, not only amongst Partners and Senior Management but also other parts of the firm, its clients and stakeholders. This information can then be used to help the firm formulate and define a clear and understandable strategy alongside a consistent set of characteristics and behaviours to the outside world.

Brand Reflections is currently seeking people to help beta test the tool. The beta testing requires an hour of time split between an initial conversation, completing the Brand Reflections survey and a second conversation to provide feedback and input into the product’s development.
