Employment Solicitor 2+ years PQE

Are you looking for a new opportunity within Employment Law?

A large and well respected law firm is looking for an Employment Solicitor/Legal Executive to join the team at one of their Birmingham offices.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • You will need to have the ability to deal with both Contentious and Non- Contentious cases. The caseload will be varied but will include some of the areas listed below.
  • Providing advice on employment law issues
  • Unfair Dismissals, Discrimination's and whistle blowing claims.
  • Enforcement of restrictive covenants and confidentiality clauses
  • Settlement agreements
  • Undertaking Advocacy at the Employment Tribunals


Key Skills & Experience:

  • The firm is looking for a Proactive Solicitor with the ability to develop and maintain client relationships with a strong commercial mind set. Ideally they are looking for someone who has the ability to manage a large caseload.
  • It would be beneficial if the candidate has high level of academic attributes, a driven and professional manner, with bags of enthusiasm and strong organisational skills.
  • Advocacy is a strong advantage and have experience of using a cloud based case management system. It would be advantageous for you to have at least 2 years PQE or solid previous experience.


Benefits:

  • Salary is BOE but in the region of £30,000 - £35,000
