A large and well respected law firm is looking for an Employment Solicitor/Legal Executive to join the team at one of their Birmingham offices.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- You will need to have the ability to deal with both Contentious and Non- Contentious cases. The caseload will be varied but will include some of the areas listed below.
- Providing advice on employment law issues
- Unfair Dismissals, Discrimination's and whistle blowing claims.
- Enforcement of restrictive covenants and confidentiality clauses
- Settlement agreements
- Undertaking Advocacy at the Employment Tribunals
Key Skills & Experience:
- The firm is looking for a Proactive Solicitor with the ability to develop and maintain client relationships with a strong commercial mind set. Ideally they are looking for someone who has the ability to manage a large caseload.
- It would be beneficial if the candidate has high level of academic attributes, a driven and professional manner, with bags of enthusiasm and strong organisational skills.
- Advocacy is a strong advantage and have experience of using a cloud based case management system. It would be advantageous for you to have at least 2 years PQE or solid previous experience.
Benefits:
- Salary is BOE but in the region of £30,000 – £35,000
