Buy to Let Landlords in £250 Million Crackdown

According to accountants UHY Hacker Young, a crackdown by HM Revenue and Customs on buy-to-let landlords in the North West who have failed to declare their rental income has led to more than £250 million in tax being assessed.

 
The success of the campaign is very likely to lead to similar campaigns being carried out in the rest of the country.
